My Story: From Pain to Freedom

Walking barefoot on the beach is now my happy place.

But this wasn’t always the case.

There was a time when walking on sand felt like it was ripping the bottom of my feet apart. The fascia and muscles in my feet were so tight and restricted that the instability of the sand caused pain.

So, what was the underlying cause?

If I walked barefoot at home or on grass, I had zero pain. So, logically, the sand must have been the problem… right?

With that logic, I should never walk on the beach again!

But if that were true, everyone would experience pain when walking on sand. And we know that’s not the case.

The real cause wasn’t the sand—it was my dysfunctional feet.
